Aamras Movie - Reviews, Songs, Trailer, Story and Wallpapers
Rupali Guha's Aamras is a complete friendship drama with a very weak story line. The name Aamras means mango shake and seriously this movie was like a shake with a lot of characters and was very meaningless. Though it started with a very beautiful Kailash Kher song and showed a lot of energy, by the end it will put you to sleep.
The story is about four school friends Jiya (Vega Tamotia) a poor girl; Pari (Ntasha Bhardwaj), a rich brat; Rakhi (Maanvi Gagroo), a funny Punjaban; and Sanya (Anchal Sabharwal) a mean Gujju. Though they are from different backgrounds they promise to be friends forever. The movie brings out that when guys come between good friends how it leads to fights between them and leads to misunderstandings.
The second half of the movie becomes very emotional when Jiya loses her mother and the sacrifices which Jiya makes for her best friend Pari. All those things look a bit stupid as some of the situations remain unexplained till the end.
Actor Ajay Singh Choudhury, played a small role in the movie but looked extremely cute and has played his role very well. Music of the movie was worth listening to. There is one romantic song which is the best one. Actress Manvi Gagroo who played Rakhi suited the Panjaban role and one should thank her for creating some humour in the movie.
If you are a teenager then you can give this movie a try but if you are not then please don't spoil your mood by going for this movie.
Rating : 2/5
