Nikhil and Swathi’s pair in their recent movie, Swamy Ra Ra had earned full marks from the critics and the audience. This movie had propelled their careers back on track and now they are in good demand. A new producer Venkat Srinivas and new director Chandu Mondenti are pairing up them together for a movie. Touted to be a thriller, the movie will have its formal launch in June this year.

Swamy Ra Ra is the biggest hit of this year in terms of Return of Investment. Made with a very modest budget, the movie has collected about 10 Crore share in its full run. Lets see if this magic is repeated once again!

Nisha Aggarwal, the younger sister of sultry Kajal Aggarwal, is apparently scared of dances. Nisha, who is keeping her fingers crossed as her upcoming film 'Sukumarudu' which features Aadi, is slated for release on May 10.

Talking about the film, Nisha says, 'It's a family film with loads of entertainment. I'm glad to be part of this project.'

She modestly admits, ' Aadhi is energetic actor and his moves in the film will bring him glory. I had worked hard for the dances in this film.'

Varun Sandesh and Komal Jha have teamed up for the film 'Priyathama Neevachata Kusalama'. "I was removed from the film's posters and not even allowed to take part in promotional campaign. My role in the film has been shortened. I doubt all these developments are a result of rejecting those advances made by Varun Sandesh while shooting for the flick. He flirted and tried to get physically intimate with me," alleged the actress, speaking to a daily.

However, Varun claimed he have no idea why Komal Jha has been making such false allegations.

Gunasekhar’s upcoming magnum opus Rudrama Devi already has a huge star cast and now he has added another actor for a crucial role. Bollywood actor Vikramjeet Virk has been roped in to play the role of Mahadeva Nayakudu, one of the Yadava Kings who waged a war against Rudrama Devi. Vikramjeet had earlier played an important role in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Khele Hum Jee Jaan Sey and Rudrama Devi is going to be his debut film in Telugu. Apart from Vikramjeet’s role in Rudrama Devi, Jayaprakash Reddy, who’s playing Amba Deva, is another important villain in the film.

The principal shooting of Rudrama Devi began few days ago and almost all the actors and actresses are undergoing rigorous training in horse riding and sword fighting. The film has Anushka, Rana in lead roles and Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Nathalia Kaur, Aditi Chengappa, Hamsa Nandini, Zara Shah, Jayaprakash Reddy will play other important roles. Thota Tharani is the art director and Ajay Vincent is the cinematographer. Rudrama Devi is going to be the first historical film to be shot in 3D in India and several German technicians are going to work on this film. Ilayaraja is scoring the music.

The title is sounding quite unusual but according to highly placed sources, director Trivikram's another upcoming venture with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is titled as 'Kobali'. Here goes the story.

After delivering a blockbuster movie like 'Jalsa' some time back, powerful Telugu hero Pawan Kalyan and magical writer-director Trivikram joined hands for another movie. This flick is right now under production and a title is yet to be decided for it. But even before completing their second venture, Trivikram shared with close sources that he will be directing Pawan again for the film 'Kobali'. 'Bali' means offering animals or humans at some place to Gods for the sake of loka kalyanam and 'Kobali' is a rayalseema word depicting the same. Targeting this ritual Pawan will be now producing 'Kobali' on his Pawan Kalyan Creative Works banner. Much details of this project are yet to come.

At the moment, Pawan and Trivikram are busy caning a high octane action sequence at the Railway Station set in Ramoji Film City. Talented action choreographer Peter Heins is handling this sequence and it is heard that this will be the interval bang of the movie. Stay connected for updates.

Here is the first look of Nayantara from the Telugu-Tamil remake of Bollywood hit 'Kahaani. The film is tentatively titled as 'Anamika' which is being directed by Sekhar Kammula.
