Aamir Khan threatened by a Villager for 'Peepli' Share

Aamir Khan threatened

Peepli Live is not your run-of-the mill Bollywood movie with big name stars, but with Aamir Khan as producer, it is easy to see why the film is a profit earner. Aamir Khan Production's Peepli [Live] made a table profit of Rs 40 million and proved to be a profitable venture to its producers even before its release. And the Peepli Profits are getting troubles to the Producer Aamir Khan.
Kunjilal Malviya, a resident of Sehra village in the district, has sent a notice to Aamir Khan, producer of Peepli Live demanding share in movie's earnings.
However, when contacted Aamir's spokesperson in Mumbai denied receiving any such notice.
Kunjilal's lawyer, Sanjay Shukla said his client who is an astrologer had in 2005 predicted that he would die soon and following this he was shown live on various news channels. Shukla said Kunjilal was the only one who had give such a prediction and was featured extensively on news channels.
He said the movie too shows a man predicting his death (by threatening to commit suicide) following which news channels cover him. The lawyer said the incident in Kunjilal's life was used by Aamir Khan and on its basis he was making crores of which Kunjilal was entitled to at least half.
Kunjilal's son, Aniruddh said they could live with the bad name that earned after his father's prediction failed in 2005. However, now they cannot live with the ridicule that was being heaped on them because of this film.
