Kriti Kharbanda has fallen in love with Banaras after her 25 day shoot with Pavan Kalyan for Theenmaar. The actress had done a lot of shopping, purchased Banaras sarees converted them into half sarees to suit her image in the film, she's playing a traditional Brahmin girl. "I shopped till I dropped, bought enough jewellery, junk and antique that would last for a life time. Plus, the food we eat on the streets was so hygenic, the people offered us homes to stay and were so warm. Women even today wear pallus on their heads, all travel in rickshaws," adds Kriti.

The most memorable experience was however, watching the full moon at the Ganga, thirty-forty Pandits conducting the Aarthi every late evening. A lot of girls would want to be in her shoes after watching her styling and performance as the Banarasi girl in the film, opines Kriti.
