Another Biopic on Beautiful Heroine

It is a common thing to see that if one concept works at the box office, a dozen films will be made on the same concept. Something like that seems to be the case with this new idea. Apparently, the Bollywood film 'The Dirty Picture' was a major money grosser and it was based on the life of Silk Smitha.

Now, it is heard that another project is being planned and this is going to be on the life of the famous Divya Bharathi. Though it is more than a decade Divya passed away the cause of her death has always been shrouded in mystery. Within a short span, she shot to fame in both south and north.

Sources say efforts are on to bring the life of Divya onscreen and the makers of this biopic have started the groundwork for it. While the idea sounds alright, what many are waiting to see is, who can step into the shoes of Divya and create an impact. Secondly, can they match the strong performance essayed by Vidya Balan for 'The Dirty Picture'.
