Tamil Producers Council decision stuns everyone!
A decision has been made by the Tamil Producers Council which can change the game of Tamil movie industry along with other south Indian film industries fate. This is a verdict given by the council that states that they will ban release of any big film during ordinary days instead they will only be given permission to release during festivals.
This decision has been taken by the council in order to favor the small movies and they consider Sankranthi, Tamil New year, May day, Independence day and Deepavali to be the only festival days when these big films have to be released. This move has come of a shock to several others and they also have varying opinion on the matter.
Several small movie makers are extremely happy with this decision while others consider this move by council to be preposterous. Further, there is also no clarity on how a movie will be considered big film. If the decision is implemented on immediately then the first to be affected by this will be Karthi’s forthcoming movie ‘Saguni’ and Dhanush’s ‘3’.
There are several producers even in Telugu film industry forcing on doing something similar to this hence we will just have to wait and see how well this decision holds good.
