Krishnudu’s ‘Kothi Mooka’ is releasing without any promotion, perhaps director AVS is trying for an underdog play. Let’s check ‘Kothimooka’ review to see what’s AVS strategy is all about.

Story:

Aakula Apparao is a corrupt MLA (Jaya Prakash Reddy) is a 4 time MLA from Faisalabad since 20 years (but in opposition) duping people. His son Ramana (Krishnudu) is a benevolent chap studying BA Politics since 5 years. One day, Ramana will be surprised to see his then classmate Lavanya (Shraddha Arya) as his new lecturer. And when Ramana proposes Lavanya, she asks describes about her his father’s begging. But still Ramana continues to love her. The plot unfolds when Ramana teaches his father a lesson in his own political tout and how he wins Lavanya.

Analysis:

Director AVS earlier directed ‘Room Mates, ‘Super Heroes’, ‘Ori Nee Prema Bangaram Kaanu’ etc. All these films are disasters, and add ‘Kothi Mooka’ to this series. ‘Kothi Mooka’ is a poor and a lackluster script with unnecessary twists every now and then. I wonder whether Krishnudu has gone through the script before signing ‘Kothi Mooka’ as he has no role. But let’s sympathize with cute Krishnudu. Instead AVS has turned out to be the hero – the biggest twist.

‘Kothi Mooka’ movie treatment is pretty pathetic and AVS has made a mess of the story. Stories like ‘Kothi Mooka’, which reply on political vengeance, needs political drama and typical romantic track.

The romantic track lacks excitement and comedy scenes are beaten. It is really difficult to find out how the title is related to the story. Then screenplay is as bad as it gets and is clearly evident from the often twists in the script.

The script is more cinematic when AVS showcases
Shraddha Arya like a rich girl, although she hails from a deprived family. And in the end, he has dramatized the story by getting into the conventional political clutter. ‘Kothi Mooka’ literally challenges your ability to sit for 2 and half hours. Can you?
