Ram Charan was to be one of ‘3 idiots’

At the audio launch of Snehithudu, Telugu version which is dubbed from Tamil movie Nanbaan (that in fact is remake of Hindi Blockbuster movie‘3 idiots’) Ram Charan Tej has shocked everyone present there by stating that he was actually approached at first to play the lead role in the remake of 3 idiots.

The actor has gone a step ahead by stating that even before the release of Hindi movie, the producers there have shown the film which has impressed the actor very much but has taken a step back from doing it in Telugu since he at the time felt it very difficult to get into the shoes of a great legend like Aamir Khan.

Ram Charan also went on to state that if he had any faintest idea that the movie is to be directed by Shankar, he would defined have given an acceptance nod without any second thoughts. Along with this he also added a fascinating snippet from Shankar’s first directorial venture ‘Gentleman’ which had a song titled ‘Chikubaku Chikubaku Raile’.

When Chiranjeevi had no clue about his ability to dance, Ram Charan used this song to display his unique dance moves to his father who was totally impressed and convinced that Charan was a good dancer.
